Refund policy

We hope you’ll love your purchases, but in case you need to make a return or exchange, our policy is:

Online Return Policy:

• We accept returns for an online credit for non-final sale items up to thirty (30) calendar days from the date you place your order. Online Credit has no expiration date.
  
  
• Sale items, jewelry, and Derby Hats/Fascinators are FINAL SALE & cannot be returned. Any sale items or jewelry returned, will NOT be processed. If you wish to have this item returned back to you, a return fee will incur.
  
  
• All coupon codes marked 30% off or higher are FINAL SALE and ineligible for return. Returns will not be processed for online or in-store credit.
  
  
• All merchandise must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached. If items have makeup, deodorant, or other stains/odors, you WILL NOT be given credit and items will be sent back with a return fee.
  
  
• Shoes must be returned in their original box and placed inside an additional protective shipping box. 
  
  
• All gift card purchases are final. Gift cards cannot be returned, exchanged or redeemed for cash (unless required by state law), and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  
  
• All shipping cost are non-refundable. 
  
  
• We do not offer price adjustments

How to Return an Item:

• Returns must be postmarked to us within 30 days from your date of purchase.
  Your item(s) to be returned must be in new condition (tags still attached, no odor, pet hair, or other user damage/wear/tear).
  Returns are eligible to the original payment method.
• Items that are final sale and cannot be returned: Jewelry, Shapewear, Derby Hats and Fascinators, sale/clearance items.
• Shipping charges (original and return) are the customer’s responsibility.

• Please package your item securely—we’re not responsible for lost or damaged returns in transit. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
• INCLUDE YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT or the packing slip.
• If you’re local, you’re welcome to drop off your return in-store within 30 days for faster processing.

*If an item you received is damaged or incorrect, please email info@darlingstateofmind.com, within five (5) days, for further assistance!

We will not accept an exchange or return on a damaged item after the five (5) day period. 

Darling State Of Mind reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if merchandise received is not in its original condition or outside the thirty (30) day return policy and guidelines.  The items can be sent back to you with a return fee and no credit will be given. 

Please note that our Brick and Mortar Return Policy is different than our Online Return Policy based on the turnover of inventory. 

Each item is photographed at it's very best to display accurate colors, measurements, and patterns.  Please beware that various computer/mobile devices have different color display profiles.  Items with slight variances will not be considered defective, as each item may be unique in pattern/color.
